THE 65TH edition of 1st Saturday chess tournament gets underway on June 1, 2013 at the 4th Flr. Perez Bldg. Doña Soledad Ave. Cor. Australia St. Better Living Subd. Parañaque City.
The tournament is open to all untitled and rated players whose NCFP rating shall not exceed 1950 below.
The champion will receive P3,000.00 plus trophy, the runner up P2,000.00 plus trophy and the third placer P1,000.00 plus trophy.
Category Winners; (top senior, top college, top high school, topelementary and top female) will receive P500.00.
The event is being organized by Paranaque Chess Association headed by Dr. Bong Perez and sponsored by Congressman Elect Abraham (Bambol) Tolentino (Tagaytay City), Mayor Elect Edwin Olivarez, Vice Mayor Elect Rico Golez Parañaque City, Kagawad Chona Navarro, Mr. Boy Francisco, Spare and Strike, Shakeys Pizza (SM Bicutan Branch) & Magnolia Beverages.
