The ASEAN Chess Confederation led by its President Ignatius Leung will visit Lingayen, Pangasinan somewhere in September this year for occular inspection such as nearby airport, venue, hotel and other considerations according to National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) Executive Director grandmaster (GM) Jayson Gonzales.
"As of now it will be difficult to surpass the superb hosting of Thailand. Dito, ang ganda parang Mini- Youth Chess Olympics but of course we could do it better. Pag binigay lahat ng resources na kailangan para sa ASEAN age group ni Gov. (Amado) Espino." he added.
